2023 Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir
A medium-bodied wine in a lovely crimson red, with tastes of raspberry and cherry, and aromas of red fruits, spice, and toasty oak.
Vineyard selection
The fruit was carefully grown on a site that is approximately 500m elevated, and has a southerly aspect.
Winemaking process
The fruit was harvest in the cool of the morning before being crushed and destemmed at the winery. The fermentation was kept cool and the extraction gentle to ensure the wine remained fresh and soft. The wine spent approximately 9 months in French oak barrels.
