2022 Rosé

Vineyard selection

There are several ways winemakers approach making Rosé . We like to get ours right in the vineyard. This means that the vineyards are selected for soft fruit expression at lower sugar ripeness so the fruit can be harvested to produce a vibrant but light Rosé with lovely fruit and vibrant acid structure. Both warmer and cooler climate vineyard are considered for this blend.

Winemaking process

To ensure that minimal colour is extracted from the skins of the red grapes used in this blend, the fruit is processed quickly once it arrives at the winery and the resultant softly pressed juice has a pale pink colour, lots of fresh fruits and a light but expressive palate. These characteristics are enhanced by cool ferments to preserve delicate aromatics and fruitiness.

Wine colour

Very pale pastel pink.

Ageing potential

Rosé ’s are made for early drinking, so we suggest 1–2 years maximum.
