WineOrbit Score: 93/100 ★★★★★ “This is attractively fruited and varietally expressive, with aromas of blackcurrant, dried herb, game, pressed flowers, and roasted nuts. The palate is equally appealing, with a plump mouthfeel and silky texture, framed by fine-grained tannins and leading to a long, sturdy finish. ”
Winemaking
Following inoculation, the ferment was allowed to warm naturally before temperature control was used to maximise colour, flavour and tannin extraction. After fermentation, the wine remained on skins until the tannins softened and integrated, before maturation in French oak to enhance complexity and structure. Colour
