Six Brothers

2016 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

A relatively dry and cool autumn and winter was followed by above average temperatures with Coonawarra recording nine days exceeding 35˚C in December alone. Record low rainfall was seen across the region with annual average rainfall for Coonawarra down by 38%. As the year progressed a cooler ‘Indian Summer’ allowed for perfect ripening conditions for Vintage.

Red berries, cigar box, Satsuma plum, perhaps a hint of Mulberry. Dried herb and subtle mint complexity giving background aromatic poise.
